The DAS CONCERT BAND participated in The First Performance National Day of Celebration. The Music Achievement Council set aside November 15th, 2018 as the inaugural First Performance National Day of Celebration to celebrate, honor and recognize the achievements of beginning instrumental music students.

Our 1st grade students had so much fun exploring all the sea animals at the Florida Aquarium. Students participated in an educational program on a shark’s life-cycle and how we can keep our ocean clean for all sea animals.

DAS Fresh Market is in full swing and our plants are looking great! So far, we are growing tomatoes,green/red/yellow bell peppers, egg plant, broccoli, romaine lettuce, and spring leaf lettuce! Next week, club members will learn how to make a safe and organic pesticide to prevent bugs from eating our plants!
